The Vice Admiral of Yorkshire Coast Challenge Trophy Kindly Sponsored by The Festival Committee

  • GREATEST WEIGHT OF FISH BOATING COMPETITION
  • Boundaries: 7 nautical mile radius of Scarborough Lighthouse
  • Fishing 9.00am-3.30pm No departure before 8am Weigh in not later than 4.30pm
  • High Water 8.37am –Metres 4.8mtrs
  • The winning competitors to receive the trophy one of the following prizes :
    £ 50 Presented by The Festival Committee
    £ 25 Presented by The Festival Committee
    £ 20 Presented by The Festival Committee
    Greatest weight of fish from Landrock £50 Presented by The Festival Committee
  • Other prizes to 10th Place :
    Greatest Variety of Fish Species: £10 presented by The Festival Committee
    Greatest Weight taken by a Lady: £10 presented by The Festival Committee
    Greatest Weight taken by a Junior : £10 presented by Bill Costin
